IS Prime hires Finalto’s Ben Robinson as head of marketing

Ben brings to his newly-created role over 12 years’ marketing experience, having recently served as Head of Marketing & Digital for the last three years at Finalto. Here he was responsible for marketing strategy and execution in the Fintech sector covering liquidity, risk management, data and technology sales. Through a combination of ABM, digital and traditional marketing strategy his role was to drive the B2B marketing and sales funnel.

Prior to that, Ben headed up the digital marketing function at a range of global B2B and B2C firms, including Zellis, Jessops, Robert Walters and Casio.

He joins IS Prime to help the company’s sales efforts keep up with the evolving FX landscape. Ben is tasked with further developing IS Prime’s marketing and brand strategy to support its rapidly growing prime of prime brokerage, as well as technology sales and client acquisition.

IS Prime, part of the ISAM Capital Markets Group, is a prime of prime business owned by the London-based hedge fund International Standard Asset Management. The group offers liquidity aggregation, prime of prime, risk analytics, agency execution and non-fx liquidity. It has recently expanded its cooperation with a number of technology partners, including with Integral OCXTM and FDC’s Condor FX Pro.

Since opening its Hong Kong office in 2017, the company has furthered its expansion in the Asia Pacific region with several key hires as part of a continued commitment to build a global PoP franchise. Looking ahead, it is apparent that IS Prime is intent on entering the cryptocurrency industry, aiming to leverage its technology integration capabilities across the surging industry.
