82 René Karsenti, who served as president of the ICMA for 14 years, brings to the Exberry board of advisors years of invaluable leadership experience in international capital market financial institutions.
His leading role in financial markets includes working as Director of Treasury Operations at the World Bank Group from 1979 to 1989 in Washington D.C. as well as Treasurer of the International Finance Corporation. He has also worked as Treasurer at the EBRD in London, UK.
From 1995 to 2006, Karsenti joined the European Investment Bank as Director General of Finance, based in Luxembourg. Besides serving as President of the ICMA from 2006 to 2014, he acted as Chairman of the International Finance Facility for Immunisation.
The provider of market infrastructure technology will be leveraging Karsenti’s know-how and network to fortify is decision-making sounding board as it scales in influence in the exchange, digital securities, digital assets marketplaces, and banks.
Focus on the ESG space
