Chainalysis Partners With Global Consulting Firm BRG

Global consulting firm Berkeley Research Group has announced a partnership deal with blockchain data platform Chainalysis. The deal will allow clients of both platforms access to market-leading tools as well as access to experts that have extensive experience in investigating crypto-related activities.

The partnership deal was arranged between BRG’s Cyber Operations and Incident Response Team and the blockchain company.

A Partnership That Can Improve Investigations In The Crypto Industry

BRG and Chainalysis have been helping law enforcement agencies in different ways in some of the world’s most famous investigations. The BRG experts played important roles to take down the $1.2 billion underground market Silk Road. The team has also investigated and helped to arrest several fraudsters involved in financial crimes.

BRG has also investigated more than 600 cyberattacks against organizations all over the world, with many of the investigations yielding positive outcomes for the companies involved. Similarly, Chainalysis has researched and spearheaded some of the most complex cyberattacks ever carried out.

The Head of BRG’s Cyber Operations team, Christopher Tarbell, commented on the partnership and what it means for both platforms.

He stated that the partnership deal will enable clients to have access to its deep technical understanding of cryptocurrency. It will also gain from the platform’s integration with Chainalysis’ tools, data, and training services. Additionally, the collaboration will certify BRG’s experts in the latest crypto investigative methods amidst the continuous expansion of cryptocurrency-related mitigation.

Chainalysis has a wealth of experience in the investigation and characterization of complex cyber incidents, and this will be vital for the partnership.

Chainalysis Also Inks Partnership with Cross River

Chainalysis has also entered a partnership with the financial services firm Cross River. The deal will enable Cross River to expand its crypto services using the compliance tools provided by Chainalysis.

Chainalysis noted that global digital asset ecosystems have expanded recently, and there has been an increase in the demand for due diligence and crypto compliance tools. Cross River stated that it offers its products and services to firms in the cryptocurrency and financial technology industry. The collaboration with Chainalysis will enable the firm to offer a high level of due diligence to customers.
